My external IP Is registered to my CARRIER but the internal IP is an IANA special use - SHARED ADRESS which appears to be allocated to an obscure european telco.
Is this usual?
Using Netstat i get thousands of connections each day, all to the internal IP, while the phone isnt in use. Most of those numbers appear to go back to different hosting services, registry authority's like RIPE, ARIN, etc. Or, are blocked by a company called MarkMonitor.
Can anyone help me explain whats happening, or suggest a way to identify who's responsible?
