Default Hubs With Withernet Powerline

Hi guys.

I have one of those powerline ethernet things in order to get the internet to my room.

Now my question is does anyone know whether I can have a network hub plugged into this instead of the PC as I have other items that require the internet?

You need a simple switch. 4 or 5 ports will do. You can snarf one up for 25.00 dollars.

Or if you have an old router lying around you can disable dhcp and a few other things and turn it into a switch.

I have found a small switch that looks like it will do the job.

But having the input come off the powerline shouldn't cause any issues?

Plug it in and find out. But I think it will probably work fine.

I have powerline adapters from my router downstairs to a little 5 port switch upstairs connected to 3 PCs and a raspberry pi - no issues at all, the switch has no idea it's being fed from a powerline adapter - it's just ethernet at the end of the day.
