Default How do I share or convert my computer's wireless?

I have a program that only accepts wired connection and outputs an error if it is connected using wireless.

I have a wireless adapter and a wired adapter on my computer. I am guessing that I would need to "share" my wireless connection and somehow receive that shared connection with wired adapter

is there a way to make this work?

my temporary fix for this was to connect my laptop to my desktop and then bridge the wireless connection of the laptop to the local area network.

I want a fix that lets me do this with just my desktop so I can use my laptop for something else

What you want is called a wireless ethernet bridge. It's basically a wireless adapter that plugs into a wired ethernet port. Here's an example...

Wireless WIFI Dongle Bridge IEEE 802.11B/G Router/IP Camera/VoIP/PSS/Xbox - Newegg.com

You can bridge connections from the network device manager.
Now let me ask, What bloody program requires you to have a hardwired connection in order to use it? Seems daft to me...
