I recently switched to AT&T U-Verse. Due to the switch my printer is offline.

If your printer was wireless you may need to rejoin it to the network.

does the printer have an IP address?? Can you ping it? Can you delete the printer from your PC and re-install?? Where is the printer offline, on the printer or on your computer ??

And also what make is the printer? Because if it is an HP then you will just need to run the install disc and there will be an option to select a printed connected via network connection. I'd also recommend setting a static IP address on the printer
