Question Home Network ?

We just moved into a new home and I need help w/the network.
The house is 3 levels and only one phone jack on each level.

We have the answering machine hooked up on the main and that leaves the home network now connected on the lower level which causes a weak/useless signal to the top level.

My ? is can I use 2 routers on the same network?
Is there some kind of router boost?

What would be the best way to get a strong signal on each level?
Thank you,

Default Re: Home Network ?

You can connect 2 routers and make one a wireless access point to extend the signal.
