I need help setting up a squid server that has remote access to the server. I'm running it in Ubuntu server 11.10 inside of VMWare. For security, I'm having it run using NCSA authentication with a few users on it. The problem I'm running into is that I don't know how to access the server and input the credentials to use it.
For those wondering why on earth I'm using this for, after my programming team's last competition for the school year, us and our teacher are gonna have a celebratory "lan" party. I already have permission from the teacher to do this. Any and all help is appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,
Welcome to CF!! I would start with the community documentation that you should start with Squid How To. I would do a little research on google too if you have other questions, or you can post back with specific issues, and we will help you with them.
