gmail account

After having had loads of problems with my Microsoft Outlook I decided to set up a gmail account.

This all seems to be working fine but, this morning I have noticed that in the bottom left hand corner of the screen there is a box that says "Set up progress 65%"

Does this mean that I have not completed the set up process properly and if so, how can I find out what I haven't done yet please.

That's just stuff like, adding a profil picture. Your Email should work just fine without the last %.
Can't you click on the text or something to get suggestions?

Thanks for that info. I've noticed that I don't seem to have a 'send/receive' button available in gmail whereas in other such progs there always is one. Am I not looking in the right place?

Gmail is so smart that it doesn't need one.

It checks all the time automaticly. But if you want to force check, there is a update button.
It's kinda like the send and receive button
