you mean how much faster would be be to connect via ethernet instead of wireless?
tbh not much faster unless your a gamer. naturally a wired connection is more reliable but wireless is perfectly fine and especially for web browsing where the speed will be the same

afaik you can use any router but to get the maximum speeds you will need one that supports the faster speeds.

You need a gigabit ethernet card, a gigabit ethernet cable (CAT6), and a gigabit router.
