Default FTP on LAN

Im trying to use ftp to send a file from my computer to my mom's computer without actually downloading it again(due to her slow computer) So i was wondering if anyone could help me out!!!

If you have Windows, you could just set up File and Printer Sharing, it's a lot less complex than an FTP server.

However, if you're set on FTP, BulletProof FTP Server is what I would recommend.
