Default file sharing

i currently have a wireless broadband router, which shares my internet between my laptop n main pc. is it possiblr to share files between these machines through this router or do i need a different router?

You can share files. You just have to enable file sharing on the PCs. The you can just simply use the UNC format to connect to those shares. If you just type the computer name it will pull up the shares. Ex: \\mylaptop

setup what folders you want shared, run network setup wizard and enable file sharing and make sure all computers are on the same network and each computer has a different name and you're done. go into my network places and all shared folders on ur network will be there, happy networking!
