Why are you even using a consumer grade firewall on a server?

I mean, any open ports you have SHOULD be in use (DNS port, SMB ports, etc). Running a software firewall on your server makes abosuletly no sense at all.

i have a netgear hardware firewall, but i was told the i should use software and hardware firewall
