Question Difference between 802.11 a/b/g & 802.11b/g

I was planning to buy a laptop, and was wondering what was the difference between:

Dell 1370 Internal Wireless (802.11b/g, 54Mbps) &&
Intel® PRO/Wireless 2915 Internal Wireless (802.11 a/b/g, 54Mbps).

Which one is better?

I would say the a/b/g card is better. Thats the card i have and i like the fact that i can get on most any network with it regardless of the protocol (great if you are going to school for networking). Also, the intel Pro cards work very well with linux.
