Connecting Printer & External Harddrive to Network

Hi all.

I am trying to connect my brother hl-2040 & maxator one-touch hard-drive to our network. We bought a new router a few months ago and we are supposed to be able to connect devices and they should appear on our network but they arent showing up.


Can someone please help?
