Default Connecting laptop to internet-not at home

I have a new lap top which I have connected wireless to home network. Can I get a card that will connect me to the internet while on the road, motel, ect that is a one time charge-that is not a monthly charge? Note this is the first laptop I have owned-also while I have a cell phone, I only use as phone and not for internet, messaging, ect. Thanks for any help

Anthony

I would suggest looking into a pay-as-you-go service such as Cricket. They have datacards like the big providers, too.

If there were a one-time charge data connect card, I think we would all have one! That Cricket one metioned above is the closest you're gonna get.

Welcome to the forums buddy!

Depending on how often you want to connect, you can just use the built-in wireless. Almost all motels, and most fast-food places/etc have free WiFi.
