Can't find the source of latency

Oh wow that got to be very unlucky, lol I hope that might not be the case here. I begin to think it could possibly be something on my end then. If not the ISP. They say everything is fine on their end. So were it to be on mine, I wouldn't know where to start or to isolate and test out.
 
Restarted and reconnected everything as normally would. Ran the speedtest. Results: 1st time-

2nd time

As for what type of internet it is, I can not differentiate it from either cable or DSL. The ISP is Communicomm.

I live in Durant, OK so closest server was Dallas, TX
 
Modem connected directly to pc:
first time-
second time-

Our service is 3Mb/s so that is pretty close to our plan.
 
I checked out communicomms website but I cant tell if they provide Cable or DSL but at those speeds I can assume DSL.

On the modem, does a phone line plug in or does a cable screw into it?

There is clearly something going on, but there could be multiple issues. But we'll get there.
