So I'm trying to open ports on the router for gaming purposes, however, when I type my IP address into the internet toolbar it says "Unable to connect", saying there is a connection problem and even gives a "Diagnose Connection Problem" button. When I click it, it says there is no problem. I can surf the web fine wireless and wired.

What is going here? Any help is greatly appreciated

Are you sure you are typing in the correct IP Adress? Press the Start button on your keyboard and the letter R at the same time and type in CMD, then type in IPCONFIG and then find the connection you are currently connected through, find the default gateway. That's the IP adress you'll need to type in, for example mine is http://192.168.0.1 (Make sure to have the HTTP:// In front of it.).

ooooohhhhh, DEFAULT gateway. I was using IP Address. Thanks for ending 2 days of frustration.

If you have trouble logging on, than the username AND password is usually admin. Although it isn't always, refer to your manual if you have problems.
