Cannot log to router

Can someone tell me why I can't log into my router thru my laptop? does dhcp enabled NO have anything to do ?

With that amount of information, no they can't.

Exactly how do you try to log into your router and what error message do you get? Do you get an authentication prompt? Or just nothing at all? Is it just from one computer or all of them? Does your router work normally otherwise or does it appear to be broken?

yes you will need to expand on this, have you changed the pw? what error's are you getting? are you logged on wireless or are you wired? Put in as much detail as you can

Normally you would want DHCP enabled so you can get an IP address automatically.

If you are having issues, probably the best option would be to hard reset your router. Hold down the reset button for about 90 seconds.

To log into your router, go to http://192.168.1.1

This website has a list of default router passwords if you don't know what your default login is.
