can anyone help me look for network gear???

hi, i am soon taking networking at college. and now want to set up a LAN in my house. however i am very skint on money at the monment so i need parts at very low cost. can anyone please point me in the correct direction? i need cat5e patch cables, a router with multiple ethernet connections and cable lengheners. or even if anyone has an old non used cable or router that still works i am interested. if anyone has any help to offer me, please e-mail me at: danc1990@hotmail.co.uk

If you live in the UK I can offer you a network hub with 16 ports which runs at 100mps, I would include 2x 12metre network cables to connect two pc's to it. It will allow good throughput wired networking and its made by 3com so its a good brand.

If your interested I could sell the lot to you for £10 + £5 postage charge because it is now old technology to me but is still perfectly usable.
