i normally connect to the internet via a wireless access point through cable modem. This morning, the cable modem went out - while troubleshooting, I disabled the "Broadband Connection" and enabled the "Local Area Connection" network connection so I could test whether or not I could connect directly through the cable modem. Sometime during this troubleshooting, the cable modem connection came back up. However, I am not able to bring up my Broadband connection anymore. It keeps wanting to 'dial' a service even though I am always connected via cable modem. I can't seem to modify the existing "Broadband Connection" under my Network Connections tab - I want to choose the option for "always connected" and not receive the prompt for Username and Password but I can't find it anywhere. I don't want to delete the current Broadband connection - anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Did you get any installation CD from your ISP? That would do it itself without you having to bother?
