Hi there
I'm thinking of purchasing a belkin network USB hub but I was wondering if it will work with my network I will tell you how it's set up Internet comes in through a netgear router that isn't being used for wifi it just comes in and goes out to the apple time capsule which gives out wifi and wired connections then out of the time capsule it goes via Ethernet to my bedroom into a network switch. So I was wondering if I plugged the USB hub into my network switch would it still work on the network because belkin keep saying it has to be connected to a router and I can't do that (well i can but it's in my mum and dads bedroom!) Cheers Jake |

It should work fine as long as its within the same broadcast domain. Basically as long as everyone is on the same router without another router in the way of them and the usb hub they will connect. A switch won't breakup a broadcast domain (unless its one of those $3000 configurable switches :P).
