Default 400 host switching recomendation

Hey again forum.

i got a small problem i need a solution for switching 400 host to a router an i need a good solution an price for the switches an it have to be cisco. it is for an institution with laptops an wireless routers. soo if you guys could help i would be a very happy person.

We're not keep doing your bid for you. You're best bet here, however, is to contact cisco's business office and talk to them.

That is not a small problem!!

Do all cables terminate at the same place or are there remote cabinets?

400 ports is a lot. You're going to need to use 5 96 port switches.

You can't use 48 port switches because you can only have 9switches in a logical stack.

Or you can use 10 48 port switches split into 2 stacks and link the stacks with a regular network cable. But this does become a pinch point.

Need more information!
