Default Howdy from Austin, TX

Howdy all, I'm here to try and get some help fixing some win 10 issues I have run into on a Dell Vostro 3550 laptop.

Cheers,

Hey, thanks for reaching out. First I wiped and installed win 7 pro, then tried to upgrade to win 10 before loading anything on it. It appeared to install correctly, took a long time but now when I turn it on the screen shows nothing but black.

Can you hear anything running inside, Also try hooking it up to an external monitor or TV and press the windows button + p. The may also need reseating.

Welcome aboard

Make sure no storage devices are connected. Does the post screen before Windows tries to load show up? If anything shows up, what do you see last?
