Default zonealarm - blocked DNS server and windows 32 services

I have ZoneAlarm (the free one), and it blocks Generic Host Process for Win32 Services every couple minutes, but it blocks it on tons of different ports. After I left the computer on for a couple hours, I had 500 alerts, all from the Win32 Services. If it gets blocked on one port, it just goes to the next one, so it'll be blocked on port 1336, 1337, 1338, etc. Is this a hacker, or is there a problem with ZoneAlarm? It also blocked access to my DNS server.

The Generic Host Process could be used for DNS transferring..
It should be allowed because it is used as a transport for DNS queries..
Ussually blocking it would stop you from even going to websites.

If your concerned about a trojan / virus, I have several reccomendations:
AVG Free - A free version of the wonderful anti-virus scanner, AVG. It can be found at http://free.avg.com

NOD32 - A retail virus scanner that costs $40, but has many advantages such as proactiv scanning, and the use of little resources. I use it and I'm very happy. It can be found at http://nod32.com and has a trial at http://www.eset.com/download/trial.htm

Housecall Scanner - A free virus scan that goes right through your browser using a Java kernel.

Any of the three should pick up any trojans and put you at rest.

I've got Spy Sweeper and Norton Antivirus 2006, so I'm not worried about viruses, I'm just more worried about hackers. For some reason I can still go to websites even with the DNS server blocked...
