Question Zalman VF900 –VS- Accelero X2 ???

Ok so here is the deal, I have a Radion X1950XTX and it seems to me that the stock cooler is kind of noisy. I have ATI tool running constantly in my back round, to monitor the speed and heat. I have the fan working 50%, the temp is about 52c idle.

I have heard great things about both coolers, but I can’t make up my mind… I know that Accelero X2 is bigger then the Zalman, but bigger is not always better. Can u guys please provide me with the information, which can help me decide. Thanks.

Do u guys think that Zalman VF900 & X2 are better then the stock 1950XTX Cooler? In both the Cooling & Silence? IF i switch to one of this heatsinks, will i still be able to use ATI-Tool to control the fan speed???

What is the difference between this 2 Zalman fans? Which one is better?

Fatal1ty FC-ZV9

And here is the X2

So guys what do u think? which one should I get? My Major priority is cooling, but it would be nice if it also would be Silent.

Does anyone know the RPS's on all the 3 cards? X1950XTX ATI Stock, Zalman VF900 & Accelero X2.

Well, I use the X2, and from experience, it's deadly silent. As in, I can't hear it at all. It keeps the temps down too. Here's a screenshot, not bad. Wasn't expensive either.

So I fully can recomend it. Also, please note, from the screen shot you provided, the Fatal1ty FC-ZV9 doesn't have a copper contact nor copper heatpipes.

I can only re-afirm what I posted before. When I mean Silent, the X2 is silent. You can't hear it, simple as. Yet loot at the temps, very low. Also, the latest one you mentioned here doesn't look like it has memory cooling heatsinks. The X2 is also the only HS/F with a fluid dynamic bearing fan. the others are ball baring, ie, louder.
