I would like to setup a virtual pc on my XP but I don't want to install a full OS on the virtual PC -- Just enough to surf the internet.

Please post your ideas for me. Thanks.

What are you talking about?? You can't just install like Firefox on it...you need a whole OS. If you want a small free OS that'll take a minute to download, you can use Damn Small Linux:

Yea, I was actually considering that one, and I've also been looking at KolibriOS and MenuetOS both can fit on a floppy! :O - that's how small...

I have just donwnloaded Virtual PC 2007 from microsoft's site and the problem is, I can't find help on how to actually install DamnSmallLinux or the other ones on the harddrive. I have found tutorials about how to boot them off of CD however but that's not what I need.

So, can you please help me with getting DSL to boot off my Harddrive in the Virtual environment?
