Thats for ~$300, then I thought at that point, hell might as well drop the same amount, respectively and buy an 8800 GT (performs nearly as well as GTS, and costs much less ) then later upgrade and buy a second 8800

what are your thoughts?

I know at this time, with games as they are I probably won't see much of a difference...obviously the SLI 8600's would initially be better, but then later that upgrade of 2x8800's @ 16 each

Thanks for any advice
I would have a nother card in my mind BUT from those two options go with the 8800.. but I will stress make sure you find some good drivers.. don't use beta's.. there have been ALOT of youtube posts on new drivers with 8800 GT.. premanently damaged their card.. It is probably fixed now.. Nivida must have addressed the issue.. It was for the 6 series and 8.
