I would just get the highest performing parts that are out there and put them together. Add in an awesome case and like 4 2tb hard drives and I'd be all set to go. A couple of Samsung 42" lcd's would be awesome as well.

An unlimited budget would be necessary of course.

I was gonna wait for them, but at what price will they be? Nvidia seems to be going up, and up, and up...

Also, I can't run two them with my board because of Nvidia's greed when it comes to SLI. So why limit myself? I was going to get another GTS250, but I instead had to get another card. So my next upgrade will be another HD5770.

For the case, you should use two antec 1200s welded together.

I hope sniperviper actually does that. I want to see it.

my dream rig
boy this is going to be crazy

Dual i7 980x @ 4.25 GHz w/ 24 GB DDR3 @ 2000 MHz (OCd)
X 58 chipset :P
Quad CrossfireX (4) 5870 1GB, 256-bit, @ 875 MHz core clock
RocketRAID 2300 Card w/4 OCZ Vertex 250 GB SSD in RAID 5 array for Boot disk
Areca ARC-1280ML-4G w 24 Cavair Black 750 GB HDD in RAID 5 array for programs
7 WD Cavair Black 1 TB HDD for storage
BluRay Burner
ASUS Xonar 7.1 sound Card
Onkyo 7.1 speakers
55" LED display
carved and cut to shreads Lian Li Full tower case

the cpu, ram, NB & SB, gpus, and all of the 750 GB HDD would be liquid cooled
loops:

.....................................> 1/2 RAM > 1/2 RAM >
res1 > pump1 > 2 way split > CPU0 > CPU1 > 2 way split > 120.4 rad1 > 120.4 rad2 > 120.4 rad3 > South Bridge to North Bridge > 140.1 rad >
res2 > pump2 > 2 way split > GPU1 > GPU2 > 2 way split > 120.4 rad4 >
.....................................> GPU3 > GPU4 >
120.4 rad5 > 2 way split > 12 HDDs > 2 way split > 120.4 rad6 > 120.4 rad7 > back to res1
.................................> 12 HDDs >

so lets see here liquid cooling parts list:
2 CPU blocks, 2 resivors, 2 pumps, 6 2-way splits, 4 gpu blocks, 7 120.4 rads, NB & SB block, ram blocks, 24 HDD blocks, 28 120 mm fans, 140 rad, 140mm fan, and alot of 13 and 6mm compression fittings

Can you even do dual i7s? I thought that was only possible for server CPUs.
