Lord, you'd need sufficient cooling or, as you say, it will explode (literally lol) in a matter of seconds. Check out some overclocking forums you should be able to get alot more out of that cpu. (beware! overclocking is highly addictive!)

Still only using air for cooling (Zalman 7000alu), so i dont think ill make the 4Ghz. had it working at 3936 but had some stability problems.

Just didn't have time to mess with the voltages.

Water cooling is my next project.

You'll all be able to laugh when I drown my system!

I'll Push it until I see smoke,

Then I'll cry head in hands saying "why did I have to get that extra 16Mhz", As the smell of burning wafts into my nostrils.

Lol - its still more likely than any of us with an AMD getting to 4Ghz! I'd need that Liquid Nitrogen idea I posted earlier.

But good luck with it!

i wonder if just generally putting bags of ice in your computer would make a difference (WHAT A BRAINWAVE!)? i guess the condensation wouldnt do it much good lol.

You may laugh but i bet everyone will be doing it in a few weeks time, lol!
