Sounds like something's wrong with the Windows installation...try repairing it.

what i've noticed is it only does it in my D: drive. (thats where i keep like everything but windows itself) and another thing is when i highlight stuff its really laggy

BTW how do i do a repair??

Ah, yeah I forgot about that. It definitely could be that.

Very doubtful that the linked update would be of any use as you have suggested for two reasons, he has an ATi video card and your link is to chipset drivers for nForce m/boards not video cards.

The latest chipset drivers are always good to have I don't dispute that and he should install them if he hasn't already.

At OP, which Catalyst version are you running??

ok i updated the chipset driver. and im downloading the ATi Drivers now

ok i installed those and now i think the fuz is gone but its still laggy when i highlight stuff. and heres an updated screeny



it stills says unknown??
