xp/vista help

hey guys.

i have a desktop running xp and a laptop running vista ultimate...

i shared the hdds on my desktop so i can access them with my laptop...

i tried to change the permissions so that you had to be on the laptop and on my account to be able to access the hdds.

but when i try to add my account from my laptop, it's not letting me select my laptop as a location.

any help?
