Isn't it just the key that activates it? The key I have is legal (registered to me ).

yer m8 its ok, you can still use it.

You dont have to active it, people just say you do.

I dont, its easy.

Yeh it works like if i use my grandads cd with my serial code it will work and i can activate they just see how many times its been activated. If you get put throught to a customer service rep. Just say you have changed something and had to re-install and they will read you a code out. I have tried it and it works
