Hi... I'm having a comp problem I'm hoping someone can help me with. I was on last night and everything was fine. went to bed, and when I got up this morning there had been a power outage... i turned the comp. on, but have been unable to access any programs in "normal mode". Word, excel, IE, etc. I try to open, get the hourglass for a second or two, then nothing. I have been able to access the run prompt, my computer properties, etc, but it has taken an extremely long time to open. I am on Win. XP Prof. I ran a hijackthis and spybot in safe mode, but nothing unusual came up. any suggestions would be helpful! Thanks,
