What would happen if you got a dual Xeon PC with the Dual cores once they are released - all with hyperthreading. That's a total of 8 registered CPU's. lol. MS will be rubbing their hand's with glee. They'll do summing about it though, there not daft.

Does it matter, i honestly cant see much people wanting to run high processors on windows much..
Hopefully people will have sence to buy opterons..

Even if you're going to build a server, I'd suggest going with some nice Opterons that pwn the Xeon several times through.

Is there anyone who has used a good P4 and a good Amd.....Cause I'm pretty lost on wich one is better i been to a million sites to compare..

p4's cand compete with ANY of the new amd 64's. Thats a fact.

i have used a p4 3.2ghz and an amd athlon 64 3500+ 939 winchester 2.2ghz

the amd 64 flys, but dont get me wrong the p4 was very fast also until it had alot of apps open, but the amd 64 keeps right up and doesnt slow down
