xbox360 question

I just got a quick question.

I want to buy a 360 and have it connected to LIVE. But, the cable modem is connected to the computer in the other room and I want to have my xbox in MY room. Is there a way to have the xbox connect to the internet wirelessly through a router or something? Or how can I get it connected? The room is not the far (just the next room), but I dont want to run a long ethernet cable. You guys have any solution?

First Option:
1. Get a router
2. Get a wireless adapter
3. Connect to it wirelessly
Approx Cost: $180 (router+adapter)

Option 2:
1. Get a router
2. Get a long ethernet cable (30feet maybe?) depending on how large your house is
3. Run it through your basement/air ducts/etc... to your 360
Approx Cost: $100 (Router+Cable)

i never thought about the air ducts

It'll be hard for air ducts unless yours are all straight and easy to guide cables through.

or use an RC care
tie a guide line to it and a small rent a small survaliance cam
slap that cam on it and drive your heart out
then pull the cable back through the ducts using your guide wire
it would be fun while you are at it
