Xbox and Wireless Adapter

I have wireless internet, and i dont want to spend 100 bucks on a wireless adapter, to play xbox live, Ive been using a cord that goes halfway through the house, which my mom doesnt like at all. Is there something cheaper out there? (Original Xbox) I also would want it to be compatible for 360 once i get that later.

Nope dude. Or chic. I would buy that100 buck wireless adapter because that has to have the driver in the wireless device to detect the xbox. I tried that already with other wireless stuff lol. Sucks. But my wireless adapter works great
