xbox hard drive

im wanting to change out my existing hard drvie for a 40gb maxtor to put more games on. its a regular xbox that's soft modded with evolution x (a newer version) and i was wondering if anyone knew if you could you norton ghost 7.0, the one where you can got from disk to disk using the dos gui program.

I don't have THAT much experience with xboxes, But I would say yes. That would require plugging the hard drive into the computer as slave though, you couldnt run norton ghost straight tot he xbox

you might be able to install the hard drive in your computer, drag and drop the files to your computers hard drive, then remove the old xbox drive and install the new drive you want to put in the xbox and drag and drop the files back to the new drive.....I don't know this, but it's just an idea that sounds like it might work.

I set up my xbox on my network and I can see all the files. I guess you would be able to tranfer to your new hdd with out taking the one in the xbox out.
