You need a hispeed internet to do it yes, and you need a router and some ethernet cords to conect the x box to the computer so the computer can run xbc to trick your x box to playing a lan over the internet.
You need high speed internet, and a way to connect your computer to your xbox, other than that not really anything. you can use headset if you have one but you dont need one
