Default X99

Just. Insanely. Awesome.

Not actually that high in price either. They have motherboards for SUB- $250. Not at at all bad. The 5820K is just slightly higher in price than a 4790K. It only gets overpriced in DDR4. Can't really get 16GB for under $300!

x99 is so epic. And FINALLY DDR4. I have been waiting for DDR4 forever. Ram prices are always ridiculous when a new standard comes out. DDR3 was stupid expensive. But the price will drop quite rapidly as more people switch over and the manufacturing process becomes more streamlined and less expensive. Such is technology. Solid improvements with Haswell-E over Ivy-E. Really impressed with Intel. Always am.

Yeah, in a couple of months I was going to build my PC with an AMD FX 8350. Now I may up the price a bit and get me some sexy X99!

Of course I will, it will be amazing! Like I said, I can get a 5820K and a $250 X99 motherboard for about $650. Not bad at all considering I was going to get a 8350, or a $250 Core I5 and a $220 motherboard.

I seen this an email I got, Very nice. I thought DDR4 wouldn't be released until the new Broadwell CPU's from Intel were released..

I'm definitely just going to get it. I should have about $1500 to spend on stuff. I can make this work, at least I sure hope so.
