Yeah, you've never played Oblivion, have you. Try having it on 1680x1050, HDR and full distance for everything. Go outdoors to the forests of Cyrodiil and see your frames go down faster than a meteor.

so whats teh crack with oblivion i ve heard its very graphic intensive but have never had the chance to play it? i was thinkng of buying but how do you think my x1900xt would handle it on a my lcd widescreen at 1680x1050?

Should be fine. I'm playing Oblivion with my X1900 XT at 1680x1050, everything maxed out (with the exception of actor and tree fade), and HDR. It looks so nice...

Depends where. Out in the forests of Cyrodiil around Skingrad, Chorrol and Cheydinhal, yes. Around the treeless Imperial Reserve like Anvil and Kvatch, no. Areas like Blackwood near Leyawiin and Bravil, I get pretty good frames. Bruma hardly has any trees and is mainly snow, so I get good frames there too.

Must be one hell of a graphic intensive game. The X1950XT performed amazingly in the benchmarks.
