At any rate, the answer is still no. That CD was meant only to install on Gateway hardware, and usually will not work on other computers. If you were to take your drive, put it in the gateway to install windows, you would still run into problems when you plug the drive back into your computer. If your hardware isn't Identical, the computer will cycle-boot.

thats where there supposed to be, hopefully the guy will let you activate it, because you supposed to be only able to activate them a couple times.
