Default Would now be a good time to upgrade?

Graphics card wise, the 4870s are looking great and I was thinking of waiting till the X2 came out. Does anyone know when these will be released?

What processor would you recommend getting with it also? I was going to wait for Intel's upcoming Nehalem processors .. are they worth waiting for? Seems like a while to wait ^^.

AMD themselves said that the X2 would come 8 weeks after the launch of the HD 4850.

There's a countdown timer somewhere.
