The Cooler Master 550W PSU will be more than enough.

I would recommend you go with the 5400+ X2 Black Edition and the new 790GX with the SB750 southbridge:

That combo would beat the 2.1GHz Phenom for gaming:

I would go with the Q6600 bundle with a 4870 for $650 of gaming goodness...

You should really get an Intel processor with that kind of budget. The E8400 will perform much better in games than a slower quad core or the 5000+.

E8400: $170
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115037

Asus P5K Deluxe: $150
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131182

4GB DDR2-1066 RAM: $105
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231166

Asus HD4870: $255
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814121258

Antec 650W PSU: $70
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817371015

Cooler Master Case: $50
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811119068

For the HD4870 you'd be fine with a 500 watt PSU, but the 9800GX2 requires at least a 600W.

That comes out to exactly $800. All the parts are top of the line. Will run pretty much any game except Crysis at max settings.

correct me if im wrong

but the q6600 bundle has half of the memory in the one i originally wanted to get and it is 100 dollars more

only upgrade on the q6600 is the power supply which i could upgrade myself for 60$

and thank you for everyone posting these great suggestions for me!

The build I just posted will destroy anything posted above in any game. Don't bother with a bundle.

yeah but its also 300 bucks more!

if the bundles will run all of those games and run the games to come then i am find with that

i do not need to "max" everything out per say

but i would like it to look good and play well

and im really not willing to spend the extra 300 for that lol

Oh, well you put your budget at $800, so I spent it all. I could have made it much less.

Swap the motherboard for this: $75
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128084

The RAM out for this: $75
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820211188

The PSU for this: $30
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817153052

Saves $145, just as fast, but the components aren't top of the line.

Also, if you want, the 9800GTX+ isn't that much slower than the 4870, but is only $170:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814121265

That would save another $85 to make it $230 cheaper.
