i did and my 3.0 P4 prescott cpu just smoked out... now i have to buy a new one -_-;; same with the asus 865 mobo i bought man that was 350 in total

That doesnt mean it blew up though, thats a bit of an exaggeration, you shoulda just said they fried, not blew up cuz that's a little extreme.

If You Put Your Plug Socker In Water Then Plug It In Just To Be In The Safe Side It Wont Blow Up Its Good For Your Pc And You.
