Default worth it to fix a windows 2000 laptop?

it needs a new CD-ROM, there is a problem with the speakers, i think, and it could use a new battery. these laptops go for about $80-$100 on eBay, maybe a little more, ill have to check.

depends what the spec is, if youd use it, how much the parts are, if thye are easy to get hold of, etc.
if you do fix it you will obviously get a bit more for it as faulty ones always go for a lot less than they should
