I'm assuming this is a laptop?

I'm just going to assume you are talking about the Alienware M14X. I don't know much about the products in Canada. However, it is $1200 (without tax and shipping) in the US. So it seems like you will be paying ~$100 more (if i did my USD to CAD conversion correctly.

IMO, its not worth it for me, but thats because its pointless having a gaming computer. I have heard many great reviews about the M14X, so if you want a gaming laptop on the go, then go for it, but it is cheaper to get a gaming desktop, fyi.
