Dude get ANYTHING that is S939 and comes with an Athelon64. I found a mobo for like $94 the other day on Newegg that looked pretty good. Try searching around a bit more...

Yeha, you will regret getting a 754 mobo. A socket 939 mobo will not only let you have a better, faster cpu right now, but you will also be future proof, because the dual cores use socket 939 also.
