Won't go on stanby UREGENT PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My laptop wont go on standby, everytime i try to put my laptop in standby or hibernate (XP home service pack 1) I get an error message saying

The keyboard driver is bad and is preventing standby or hibernation.


I havent changed drivers(not that I know of)




PLEASE HELP URGENT

Although I've never seen this happen, I am assuming the error means that something is wrong with the keyboard, preventing it from going into standby or hibernate. Check device manager and see if there are any puncutuation marks or question marks. If there are, you will have to reinstall the drivers. The driver could have become corrupt somehow, so try to reinstalling it.
