Which wireless router.

I have ASDL broadband and I want a good but cheap router for around the house. Any suggestions?

how cheap are we talking? D-link, Belkin, and Linksys make some of the best.

I would say Linksys would be my top choice... I have an older wired router by them and it's been great. And, as much as I hate to say it, I have a D-Link wireless Access Point which as been great! Out lasted 2 of my D-Link cards too! LOL

actually Dlink has moved up in performance and stabability in the last year. For the price the DI-524 ($19us after rebates) hard to beat as both wireless and/or fixed.

I have been using a d-link wireless for 2 years with no problems.

but i have no complants and its easy to setup

wat wud u need if u wanted to use the internet wirelessly (lol) ouside in the garden say about 15 meters away from the house?

the same thing you need to use it in a room in your house. Most wireless systems range about 300 feet from source to source depending on how many walls and what type along with whether there are any flourescent lights floating about, as these do have a tendency to interfere a little.
