how do u set up a printer so it is physically connected to one computer but wireless to another computer at the sametime?

do you use your router or what?

you have to get a little wireless box, i know netgear sells em. Its called a printer port i think.

If you want to save money, get a wireless router. Connect the printer to your computer and enable printer sharing. On your other computer, connect to your wireless network and install the printer (as network printer). Keep in mind that the computer with the printer attached must be on at all times if you want to print from the other computer.

If you dont like the habit of keeping the computer on, then get a wireless router with a print server - These things cost more than other routers. The printer does not need to be connected to a computer in this instance.

so with a print server, one computer can be connected physically and the other one wireless, both of them dont have to be wireless right?
