wireless connection deleted please help

hello..i have a gateway (around four years old) with xp home edition...in my networks in the control panel i have accidentally deleted the wireless connection icon....ive tried making a new one using the wireless connection wizard but no luck...is there any other way i can get it again?

So you've tried the wizard to no avail?

How do you connect to the wireless connection? If you can, maybe disconnect/reconnect the card and then check in the Device Manager in the Control panel to detect new hardware. I think that'd bring your icon back.

Do you have an installation disc that came with the gateway? you may need to install the drivers of software to get the connection icon
